We announced that Fantasy Islands' new are, The Lost Island, would be coming on the 1st of August! The area will take you into a civilisation lost to time, where the dark forces of Koltos and the powers of Kurzu rule!

The rides:

• Kurzu and Koltos, two duelling wooden coasters

• Explorer, a new-gen turning dark ride

• Daemon, a new drop tower design

In order to make way for new and exciting projects, both Thorpe PE and Fantasy Islands will be discontinued by the end of this year:

• Thorpe PE will be discontinued on the 2nd of November, just after Fright Nights 2020

• Fantasy Islands will be discontinued on the 31st of December, just after Fantasy Islands' Wonderland 2020

We will be running memorial events for both parks on their closing days - keep your eyes open for more details on these!

We're sure you're all familiar with our long-running series, Building Alton Towers. Well, we've been working very hard on the project and can now announce that Alton Towers PE will be released in late 2020!

The map was released on 14th November 2020!

Announcement "IoS20" was about our long-running Halloween event, Islands of Screams 2020! Here's the lineup for this year:

• Subject 101 and The Peregrine will both be returning for 2020

• Jester will be coming back as a new scarezone in the central island

• We'll be inviting some family fun into Hobbiton with Bilbo's Halloween Party!

• Nyctophobia will see two new scare attractions: Sentinel, a new scarezone in The Crypts and Nyctophobia Unleashed, a horrifying live-action twist on Nyctophobia: Twilight

• The Mines of Moria: Drums in the Deep will take guests into the darker side of The Hobbit

• Trick or Treat Lodge will be a family-friendly maze in the Kahiti Hotel

• Rising will take those brave enough into the backstory of The Alchemist's Tower

• The Crown of Embers will show guests the dark side to the followers of Koltos

We've been working with our moderator team on a new recreation of Chessington World of Adventures Resort! There is not currently an expected release date, so watch out for more information!
